We have been retained exclusively to represent an ASX top 200 company who have made their mark to date 
specialising in the long-term operation, maintenance and management of critical public and private assets and infrastructure.  Their expertise is applied across a broad range of industry segments including defence and social infrastructure, infrastructure services, telecommunications and transport.
 
Our assignment is to identify and secure an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to play a critical role primarily providing supervision of subcontractor management for estate upkeep.
 
Located on the outskirts of Darwin City, this role will be based on a key Defence base critical to key defence deliverables across the N.T.
 
Some key deliverables in this role will include ;

  • Appropriate management of approved Subcontractors and suppliers is in place, and where necessary initiate such corrective actions as are required to maintain quality and timing of supply in accordance with respective agreements
  • Ensure service delivery is effective and meets the stated Contract requirements
  • Coordinating appropriate QA, HSE and audit related activities on-base and for service delivered to the particular region
  • Preparation of accurate management reports on an on-going basis
  • Overview the maintenance plan to ensure that it complements and will not restrict or hinder operational activities occurring on site.
  • Ensure that work planned is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Manage the day-to-day liaison with subcontractors and in-house trade staff and work closely with Planning and Scheduling teams

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate competency across the following skill sets and qualifications;
  • Valid drivers license
  • MUST BE AN AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN and able to obtain full security clearance off the back of detailed background checks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasking and time, and to deliver a value for money seamless service to the Client.
  • Proven decision-making abilities combined with a highly developed level of innovative thinking.
  • High level of inter-personnel and communication skills.
  • Experience in the use of Windows based office management systems, experience in SAP is advantageous.
  • Able to work effectively with people from diverse national, cultural, linguistic and religious/spiritual backgrounds and to deal with sensitive issues in a manner that is respectful of people’s individual dignity, cultural values and religious beliefs.
  • Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome.
  • Able to obtain Defence security clearance of the back of detailed background checks
